Powis Street proposals - have your say

Powis Street is Woolwich’s main high street. We want to support local businesses and make it a more attractive place to shop and socialise.

Using your feedback, we are proposing to: 

• introduce more seating and space to relax
• add more planting to make the street greener 
• widen the pavement to provide more space for shoppers, while maintaining access for emergency vehicles 
• create more space for al-fresco dining outside cafés and restaurants
• provide high quality paving
• improve lighting to help residents feel safer 
• remove street clutter like unnecessary bollards
